abstract The purpose of the present invention is to provide methods for producing a carboxamide compound, a sulfonamide compound, and an ester compound using an acid halide. The methods for producing a carboxamide compound, a sulfonamide compound, and an ester compound each include a step in which an acid halide is reacted with an amine, an amide compound, or an alcohol in the presence of an amide-based solvent and/or a urea-based solvent. The amine can be selected from among aliphatic amines, aromatic amines, and zwitterionic molecules and derivatives thereof. The acid halide can be selected from among carbonyl halides and sulfonyl halides.
