Provided is an exhaust gas purification catalyst 100 in which particles 20 of a catalyst metal are supported on a secondary particle 10 of an inorganic oxide, wherein when line analysis is performed from the surface of the secondary particle 10 toward the center thereof using a scanning transmission-type electron microscope with energy dispersion X-ray, the support density of the catalyst metal on the surface side of the secondary particle 10 is higher than that of the catalyst metal in the central part of the secondary particle 10. |
