abstract | At least one surface of a base material layer is covered with a coating layer that includes a first vinylidene chloride copolymer including a carbonyl group, with an inorganic layer being interposed between the base material layer and the coating layer. The resulting gas barrier film makes it possible to improve barrier properties that are strong against gases such as water vapor, and to improve interlayer adhesion even in a layered structure having an inorganic layer and an organic layer. The integral value of a signal at 170-180 ppm in a 13C-NMR spectrum of the first vinylidene chloride copolymer may be a factor of 0.001 or higher relative to the integral value of a signal at 80-85 ppm. The first vinylidene chloride copolymer may further include a cyano group. The coating layer may further include a second vinylidene chloride copolymer in which the integral value of a signal at 170-180 ppm in a 13C-NMR spectrum is a factor of less than 0.001 relative to the integral value of a signal at 80-85 ppm. The coating layer may further include a silane coupling agent. The inorganic layer may be composed of silicon oxide. |
