titleOfInvention | Method for measuring wet state of brazing material, base material, and device for measuring wet state of brazing material |
abstract | Provided is a method for measuring a wet state of a brazing material, with which it is possible to measure the wet state of a brazing material being evaluated, in a state in which the brazing material is covered with flux. Using a metal base material 1 which has a recessed portion 10 open on a vertically upper side and closed on a lower side, the cross section of the recessed portion 10 including contacting surfaces 11 which are inclined with respect to the vertical direction, in a direction in which a gap therebetween on the vertically lower side is narrower than on the vertically upper side, and in which an angle between the opposing contacting surfaces 11 is less than 180°, the recessed portion 10 is filled with flux to be evaluated, and a brazing material to be evaluated, such as solder, and after having been heated to a temperature exceeding the melting point of the solder, a contact angle θa between the solidified solder and the contacting surface 11 is measured. |
