abstract | The present invention provides a cold storage material which is suitable for use in refrigerators, and which satisfies the following two conditions (I) and (II). Condition (I): The cold storage material has a melting point of from 3°C to 10°C (inclusive). Condition (II): The cold storage material has a small degree of supercooling ∆T. A cold storage material according to the present invention contains: at least one kind of halide ions selected from the group consisting of tetra-n-butyl ammonium ions, silver ions, fluoride ions, chloride ions and bromide ions; water; and at least one kind of carboxylate ions represented by chemical formula R-COO- (wherein R represents a hydrocarbon group). |
