abstract The present invention relates to tariff metering relay integrated with low voltage distribution system in domestic and commercial utilities. Further, the present invention relates to tariff metering relay for low voltage domestic and commercial switch board application. The tariff metering is based on the end device protection scheme by magnitude irrespective of wave forms and characteristics and time delay for the operation of protection element is definite time. The relay is configured to be used for more than one consumers and for both domestic and commercial tariff metering in single meter. Further, the system could be used for one or more load commercial consumers of a predefined area in single tariff meter. Further, the system could be used for multiple scale tariffs metering with respect to the type of connected load of the same consumer. Further, the system is configured to detect loose connection in a loaded circuit of the sub circuit of a consumer.
