Disclosed by the present invention are a transition metal and nitrogen co-doped carbon composite material for use in formaldehyde purification and a preparation method therefor, which are composed of a non-precious metal active component and a nitrogen-doped carbon carrier; the non-precious metal active component is a transition metal salt, the transition metal salt being one or more from among nickel salt, cobalt salt, iron salt, and manganese salt. The transition metal and nitrogen co-doped carbon composite material for use in formaldehyde purification in the present invention has a large specific surface area, and strong formaldehyde adsorption and catalytic purification capabilities, thus overcoming the harsh conditions required by conventional transition metal oxides for the catalytic oxidation of formaldehyde (such as high catalytic temperature, and so on), and having the characteristics of being low cost, having high catalytic efficiency at room temperature, having a long service life, and so on. |
