abstract The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition comprising a Styphnolobium japonicum fruit fermented solution or an extract liquid thereof as an effective ingredient for reducing skin wrinkles and a preparation method therefor. More particularly, the present invention relates to a Styphnolobium japonicum fruit fermented solution or an extract liquid thereof as an effective ingredient for reducing skin wrinkles and a preparation method therefor, wherein a Styphnolobium japonicum fruit is fermented with lactobacillus to afford a fermented solution and the fermented solution or an extract liquid therefrom is used as an effective ingredient in a cosmetic composition that has an excellent effect of skin wrinkle reduction and is free of the side effect of skin irritation. The composition is provided for reducing skin wrinkles by promoting the proliferation of fibroblasts and inhibiting the gene expression of intramolecular collagen, TIMP-1, tropoelastin, and MMP-1.
