abstract |
The present invention provides: a casting mold material that has further improved fluidity and makes it possible to further improve fill rate for a casting mold that is obtained by molding; and a casting mold material that has good casting mold release properties and disintegration, gives castings a favorable casting surface, can effectively ameliorate sand deposition on castings, and can advantageously provide a casting mold that has superior strength. The present invention is characterized by being a dry granular material that is fluid at room temperature and is the product of a water-soluble inorganic binding agent being used to form a solid binder layer on a fire-resistant aggregate such that the surface of the aggregate is coated, and binding-agent-repellant spherical silicone resin particles being attached to and forming a layer on the surface of the binder layer such that a portion of the spherical silicone resin particles is not covered by the water-soluble inorganic binding agent and is exposed. |
