Novel structure of high-permittivity pad for magnetic resonance imaging |
abstract |
A high-permittivity pad (100) for magnetic resonance imaging and a method of forming a high-permittivity pad (100). The high-permittivity pad (100) comprises an array of a plurality of squares (101) formed of a high-permittivity material, and adjacent squares are connected together with a certain gap (G). The gap (G) has a size of 1 mm to 5 mm. The high-permittivity material is a homogeneous mixture of barium titanate and water. The high-permittivity pad (100) solves the problem of uneven distribution of the mixture, and effectively relieves the shielding effect of the high-permittivity pad (100) on the electromagnetic field in a magnetic resonance environment, improving the uniformity of magnetic resonance imaging. The design structure is simple to manufacture, has a relatively low cost, and can be expanded in size according to actual needs. |
