abstract The present invention provides a negative electrode active material, characterized by corresponding to secondary particles in which silicon composite primary particles represented by Mg-SiO x (0 < x < 2) and artificial graphite primary particles are assembled, wherein a surface of the secondary particles, in which silicon composite primary particles and artificial graphite primary particles are assembled, is covered with amorphous carbon, so that a lithium secondary battery using the negative electrode active material can maintain excellent conductivity and prevent the deterioration of cycle performance even after charging and discharging.
