The invention relates to an antimicrobial layered material, comprising a layer containing a particulate biocidal active substance and a layer arranged thereon as a transport control layer, wherein the transport control layer can be deposited or is deposited in an afterglow PECVD method. The invention further relates to a substrate coated with an antimicrobial layered material of this kind, the use of a plasma-polymer layer deposited in an afterglow PECVD method as a transport control layer for a particulate biocidal active substance, a method for producing an antimicrobial layered material, and a method for producing a substrate having an antimicrobial layered material. |
