abstract Disclosed are a fluorescent dye, a preparation method therefor and the use thereof. The fluorescent dye has a general structural formula as shown in formula I, wherein X and Y are the same or different and are O, S, C(CH3)2 or NR6, R2 and R3 are the same or different and are hydrogen or a functional group, R1, R4, R5 and R6 are all functional groups, and Z- is a negative ion. The fluorescent dye has a living cell membrane permeability and can be used for the fluorescence imaging of living cell microstructures; furthermore, fluorescence imaging, such as living cell STED super-resolution fluorescence imaging and laser confocal imaging, can also be obtained.
