The present disclosure relates to a breathing system component (25) comprising a hollow gas duct (50) for conveying breathing gas in the breathing system (1) and to a process for the manufacture of the breathing system component. The component has an integrated one- piece molded structure and is made of a non-toxic plastic material having a melt flow rate MFR of 2.5 g/10min or less, measured according to ISO 1133 with a load of 2.16kg at a temperature of 230°C. |
