abstract |
The present invention relates to a peptide bound to PD-L1 and cancer immunotherapy using the same and anticancer use thereof. The peptide of the present invention binds specifically to PD-L1 to inhibit the same, thereby activating the function of immune cells against cancer cells and exhibiting an anti-cancer effect. The peptides of the present invention were prepared by selecting two types of peptides (PD-L1Pep-1 and PD-L1Pep-2) that bind well to cells expressing high levels of human PD-L1 protein by using a phage peptide display technology, and it was found that the peptides bind to human and mouse PD-L1 to inhibit the function thereof. The peptide of the present invention showed a similar level of effect to that of an antibody and is relatively stable in the blood, indicating a high possibility as a cancer immunotherapeutic agent in the future. |
