abstract | A surface-cleaning and disinfecting composition is provided using a friable mineral blend of micronized slate, calcite, talc, baryte, bentonite, agalmatolite, and diatomite suspended or dissolved in water. The composition repels water, removes nano and micro particles from various surfaces and breaks down oils, fats, grease and wax. The surface-cleaning composition has disinfectant properties. The surface-cleaning composition is particularly useful for cleaning non-porous surfaces, in particular aircraft and vehicle exterior surfaces, industrial equipment, and domestic interior surfaces. The surface-cleaning composition is environmentally safe to manufacture and use. The surface-cleaning composition may be in the form of liquid, paste, cream or gel. The surface-cleaning composition may be applied as a spray to a surface to be cleaned. and can be applied without protective equipment, such as gloves or face mask. The inventive composition is non-toxic and can be applied on items intended for human or animal consumption. |
