abstract |
Provided are an antimicrobial substrate capable of effectively and continuously controlling microorganisms generated in living environment, etc. and a method for manufacturing the antimicrobial substrate. The antimicrobial substrate comprises metal-containing oxidized cellulose nanofibers, which contain a metal other than sodium in the form of a salt, adhered to a substrate, wherein: the number-average fiber diameter of the metal-containing oxidized cellulose nanofibers is 30 nm or less; the content of the metal other than sodium is 0.1-2.5 mmol inclusive per gram of the metal-containing oxidized cellulose nanofibers; the average density of the metal-containing oxidized cellulose nanofibers adhered to the substrate is 0.000001-0.1 mg/mm 2 inclusive; and the contact angle of the substrate is 5-90° inclusive. |
