The invention relates to a medical control system (1) for a medical sterile room (2), such as an operating room, wherein the medical control system (1) comprises a projector (12), which projects a projection (16), preferably in the form of a graphical user interface, onto a projection surface (15), a detection device (13), which, in the region of the projection surface (15), detects a, preferably manual, input or a movement or leaving of an interaction component (17) by a user, and a control unit (18), which controls the projector (12) and processes the input detected by the detection device (13) and converts it into control commands for controlling the projector (12) and/or other technical components (22, 23).
