abstract |
Relating to an experimental animal model, disclosed are a method for constructing an animal model for ulterative colitis and an application thereof. The animal model for ulcerative colitis uses the Chinese field dog as a model animal and uses acetic acid to induce ulcerative colitis in dogs; the experiment results may basically be directly generalized and applied to humans. The manner of modeling is simple to operate, and the model is stable, being easy to repeat and costs being low; the method provides more option for animal models for evaluating drug properties and for evaluating curative effects for the research and development of a drug for treating ulcerative colitis (UC). |
