titleOfInvention Sliding member
abstract The present invention provides a sliding member that exhibits superior sliding properties as well as mechanical characteristics (and especially bending characteristics) as compared to a conventional polyamide-based sliding member. The present invention relates to a sliding member characterized by containing 0.1-50 parts by mass of unmodified cellulose fibers or cellulose fibers in which some hydroxyl groups derived from cellulose are modified by hydrophilic substituent groups, with the fibers having an average fiber diameter of 10 μm or less, relative to 100 parts by mass of a polyamide resin.
