abstract |
Disclosed are a magnetic super-hydrophobic fabric and a preparation method therefor. The preparation method involves first immersing an ordinary fabric in a mixed solution containing polydimethylsiloxane, ferroferric oxide particles modified by a silane coupling agent and an organic solvent, and stirring same; taking the fabric out of same and placing same 1-5 mm below a magnet, and keeping same at room temperature for 10-60 min, wherein the ferroferric oxide particles gradually migrate to the polydimethylsiloxane surface on the fabric under the action of the magnetic field while the solvent volatilizes; and finally, the fabric being kept at a temperature of 80-130℃ to thermally cure the polydimethylsiloxane in order to form a crosslinked structure, such that a magnetic super-hydrophobic fabric having a surface with a micro-nano coarse structure is prepared. The present invention is simple in process; in addition, the prepared super-hydrophobic fabric has a front side water contact angle of up to 167° at which water droplets roll off of same easily, and a back side water contact angle of up to 154° at which water droplets easily adhere to same. In addition, the fabric also has good magnetic properties and a saturation magnetization intensity of 1.285 emu/g. |
