abstract | A system and method of manufacturing organic and organomineral fertilizer from animal manure such as, but not limited to, poultry, pork and beef manure, is provided. In a main step of the method, hydroxides and/or oxides are added to the manure causing a chemical reaction which produces a thermal shock that reduces or eliminates foul-smelling gases and inertizes seeds, bacteria, viruses, nematodes, protozoa, fungi and/or other environmental passive present in the manure. Water vapor liberated by the chemical reaction can be liquefied and mixed with the manure to provide a more liquid resulting product. Macro and micronutrients may be added to the manure. |
