titleOfInvention System and method for administering and using essential information that is relevant in areas such as healthcare, social work, communities, administration, to facilitate the provision of services to persons, based on a portable, autonomous personal device using rfid radiofrequency technology
abstract The invention relates to a system and method for administering and using relevant information in the areas of healthcare, social work, communities and administration, as a complement and support for the provision of services to persons, based on a portable, autonomous personal device using RFID radiofrequency technology; wherein the system comprises a portable mobile device (DMP), which is personal and autonomous, for secure storage of basic, critical and relevant details of a person, for example, in a non-limiting manner: socio-demographic data, acute and chronic diseases, drugs used, allergies, adverse reactions to drugs, contact persons, details of medical devices used: optical, auditory, pacemakers; social (location, safety, identification), including electricity-dependent devices, such as ventilators, dialysis and oxygen devices, said mobile device being carried by the persons (users) permanently and being rewritable for updating the information, and comprising a transponder, which in turn is made up of a storage memory for reading and writing data and an antenna; and a mobile read/write device (DMLE) used by an operator, which uses radio frequencies (RFID) to activate the means for transmitting and receiving data, to and from the portable mobile device, which allows these data to be read and/or rewritten, so that the operator (member of the healthcare team, social work team, administrative team, technical team) who needs to use said mobile device can retrieve (read, consult, print) the data stored in the portable mobile device, and then, based on experience or technical knowledge, decide and perform immediate actions for the benefit, safety or well-being of the user, which can include indications, recommendations, medical prescriptions or specific therapy procedures and, optionally, update the details of the person in the portable mobile device, as required in each case.
