abstract |
The present invention relates to an oxidizing activator comprising a macrocyclic tetraamide metal complex (MTMC) encapsulated in a hydrophilic hydrogel. In particular, the MTMC used is the iron-tetraamidomacrocyclic complex (Fe-TAML). The invention also relates to a method for oxidizing organic molecules, the method comprising adding an oxidant and an oxidizing activator for activating the oxidant. |
