abstract The present invention relates to mesofluidic devices for culturing cell aggregates and methods of use thereof. A mesofluidic device according to the invention comprises at least one fluid inlet orifice, at least one fluid outlet orifice, a plurality of fluid channels, and a plurality of culture chambers. Each culture chamber may include at least one chamber inlet port and at least one chamber outlet port. The at least one chamber inlet port may be in fluid communication with the at least one fluid inlet port through at least one of the plurality of fluid channels. The at least one chamber outlet port may be in fluid communication with the at least one fluid outlet port through at least one of the plurality of fluid channels. The mesofluidic device may be configured to contain a cell aggregate in each of the plurality of culture chambers.
