abstract |
The present invention provides compositions and methods for inhibiting the expression of the Asialoglycoprotein Receptor 1 ( ASGR1 ) gene . Agents based on interference RNA (RNAi), p. ex. double-stranded RNAi agents, and ligand conjugates targeting an RNAi agent to inhibit the expression of an ASGR1 gene are described. The invention also relates to pharmaceutical compositions comprising one or more ASGR1 RNAi agents , optionally with one or more additional therapeutic agents. ASGR1 RNAi agents can be used in methods of treating various diseases and conditions, such as cardiometabolic diseases associated with high non-HDL (non-HDL-C) cholesterol levels, LDL cholesterol levels ( LDL-C), elevated total cholesterol levels and / or elevated triglyceride (TG) levels. |
