abstract |
The present invention provides isolated synthetic L-peptide peptides and peptides D isolated, purified and characterized from Clinotarsus curtipes and Hylarana temporalis frogs of western Ghats from the Kerala region of India. Peptide profiles of the invention are described according to their kinetics of destruction of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, hemolysis of red blood cells and the cytotoxic effect on cultured mammalian cells. |
