abstract | The invention relates to methods of manufacturing casting rods or high temperature casting molds and especially water-soluble mixtures, and can be used in metallurgy. The technical result of the invention consists in ensuring the possibility of manufacturing rods or shapes having in their different zones different physico-mechanical properties. The invention consists in that the process comprises mixing a filler in the form of an aluminum oxide with a binder in the form of alkali metal aluminate and sintering the resulting mixture, and distinguishes itself in that the sintering takes place by selectively heating specific zones of the mixture to a decomposition temperature of the mixture up to the temperature. disintegrating the aluminate of the alkali metal, the heating regime of isolated areas of the mixture being selected depending on the physico-mechanical properties required of isolated areas of the rods or shapes to be manufactured. |
