abstract |
It is an object of the present invention to provide a blue-emitting quantum dot which is Cd free and has a narrow fluorescence half width. The quantum dot (1) of the present invention is characterized by containing no cadmium and having a fluorescence half width of 25 nm or less. In the present invention, the quantum dots are preferably nanocrystals containing zinc and selenium, or zinc, selenium and sulfur. The quantum dot preferably has a core-shell structure in which the nanocrystal is a core (1a) and the surface of the core is coated with a shell (1b). |
