abstract |
The present invention relates to the biological degradation of petroleum hydrocarbons in the soil. To achieve this goal, a biopreparation is used which contains non-pathogenic Acinetobacter calcoaceticus BT 8 bacteria capable of digesting hydrocarbons and, in addition, capable of absorbing nitrogen from the air and using it as a mineral. The quantity and mineral composition of the biopreparation are chosen according to the concentration of petroleum pollutants in the contaminated soil. |
