titleOfInvention METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY DETECTING A BASIC POSITION OF A PERSON LAYERED ON A MATTRESS AND METHOD FOR GENERATING A GRAPHICAL REPRESENTATION
abstract The present invention relates to a method of automatically detecting a home position of a patient lying on a mattress provided with pressure sensors. A print pattern and severity points are recorded. A basic position of the patient is determined by means of predetermined rules based on the severity points. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a method for producing a graphic representation of a patient lying on a mattress on the basis of the printing pattern. The measured print pattern is compared to database print patterns from a print pattern database. A database print pattern with the best similarity is selected and the associated selected skeleton data is displayed on a display device.
