The present invention relates to soft tissue (eg, gingival) sensors for sensing one or more analytes from the soft tissue while being stably held in position against hard tissue, such as teeth. Methods and apparatuses for stably maintaining a soft tissue sensor with respect to the teeth so that the soft tissue sensor can sample, including a continuous sample, are described in the description. In particular, the invention relates to methods and apparatus for holding a sensor having one or more micro-needles in position for sampling from the gingiva. |
