abstract The invention relates to a glass plate construction which is provided with a first glass plate, a second plate disposed opposite the first glass plate, and a liquid layer formed by sealing a liquid between the first glass plate and the second plate, the glass plate construction having a plurality of vibration zones which are independent of each other in a plan view. The glass plate construction constitutes a diaphragm comprising at least one vibrator installed on one or both sides of the glass plate construction. An independent vibration in each of the vibration zones is made possible, thus allowing stereophonic or multidimensional reproduction, as well as local reproduction adapted to a video. In addition, since the present invention is a diaphragm that includes a vibrator, sound reproduction is exceptional.
