abstract |
The present invention relates to an image forming method, and an ink set, the method comprising: a step of preparing an ink containing water and a solvent A having a vapor pressure of 0.20 kPa or less at 20 ° C and a content of 10% by mass or more; a step of preparing a coagulation liquid containing a coagulant; a step of preparing a cover layer liquid containing a resin and a solvent B having a vapor pressure of 2.50 kPa or more at 20 ° C and a content of 10% by mass or more; a step of applying the coagulation liquid on an impermeable substrate; a step of forming an image by applying the ink by an ink jet process on at least a portion of a region on which the coagulation liquid is applied; and a step of applying the cover layer liquid to the coagulation liquid application region of the impermeable substrate on which the image is formed. |
