The invention relates to the use of a block copolymer having the following structure. wherein R and R 1 may be the same or different and are each independently alkyl or aryl, X may be hydrogen or C 1 -C 20 alkyl which may be branched or linear, the substituent on the aromatic ring bound to the polymer B is in the meta or para position relative to the substituent on the aromatic ring bound to the polymer A and the polymer A is an ethylene polymer (or copolymer) and the polymer B is a polymer of selected monomers among vinyl acetate, C 1 -C 9 acrylate esters, acrylic acid and mixtures thereof, as an additive in polyethylene or polyethylene terephthalate to improve adhesion between coextruded layers of polyethylene and poly (ethylene terephthalate). The invention also relates to laminated films derived from such use. |
