titleOfInvention | CLEAVING DISILANE, CARBODISILANE AND OLIGOSILANE WITH CLEAVING COMPOUND AS CATALYST AND HYDROGENATION SOURCE |
abstract | The invention relates to a process for producing monosilanes of formula (I): Me x SiH y Cl z (I), comprising the step of subjecting a silane substrate (methyldisilanes, methyloligosilanes, or carbodisilanes) to a reaction of cleaving silicon-silicon bonds or silicon-carbon bonds in silane substrates, the reaction involving a cleavage compound selected from an onium compound of the quaternary group R4 QX, a heterocyclic amine, a heterocyclic ammonium halide, or a mixture of R3P and RX. The starting material of disilanes to be cleaved has the formula (II): Me m Si 2 H n Cl o (II), the starting material of oligosilanes cleaving has the general formula (III): Me p Si q H r CI s (III), the starting material of carbodisilanes to be cleaved has the general formula (IV): (Me a SiH b Cl e ) -CH 2 - (Me c SiH d Cl f ) (IV) |
