abstract | The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition comprising, as active principle, liquid milk cream fermented by lactic acid bacteria and, more specifically, a composition for: the prevention and reduction of cutaneous aging, this parameter being commonly used as representative measure of the anti-aging effect; prevention and mitigation of skin lesions; the prevention and the mitigation of the degradation of the elasticity of the skin, and wrinkles; bleaching of the skin; and preventing or attenuating atopic dermatitis, as well as various applications of said composition. Liquid milk cream fermented by Lactococcus spp., Lactobacillus spp. or Bifidobacterium spp. of the present invention has the effect of preventing and reducing skin aging by reducing the roughness of the skin, improving the flexibility of the skin, increasing the elasticity of the skin and reducing skin wrinkles. In addition, fermented liquid milk cream prevents and attenuates skin lesions by increasing the retention of water and lipids at the skin surface and by reducing transepidermal water loss. In addition, fermented liquid milk cream retains a whitening effect of the skin by reducing freckles, blemishes and age spots by lowering the melanin index at the level of the skin surface. and by improving the complexion, and has effects of preventing or relieving the symptoms of atopic dermatitis by increasing water retention in the lesions associated with atopic dermatitis, stabilizing the skin by reducing the pH value of skin and reduction of transepidermal water loss, inducing more flexibility of the skin. Therefore, this fermented liquid milk cream can be usefully used in the field of cosmetics or foods in connection with the foregoing effects. |
