The present invention relates to an organic EL display device (50a) comprising: a base substrate (10); an organic EL element (8) disposed on the base substrate (10) and having a plurality of organic EL layers (20) arranged in a matrix; and a sealing film (22a) disposed on the organic EL element (8), a plurality of sub-pixels being defined corresponding to the organic EL layers (20). The sealing film (22a) has a groove line (C) formed to pass through the subpixels, and a stop portion of foreign material (22ar) formed to abut against any foreign material ( R) present on the organic EL element (8). |
