titleOfInvention SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DOOR MONITORING DURING THE DEPARTURE OR ARRIVAL OF AN AUTONOMOUS VEHICLE
abstract Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a memory, for monitoring a vehicle access point. In one aspect, a monitoring system includes a processor and a computer storage medium storing instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform operations. The operations may consist of obtaining, by means of the monitoring system, surveillance system data generated by a first component of the surveillance system, to be determined by means of the surveillance system and on the basis of data from the surveillance system. surveillance, a current occupancy of a vehicle, to be determined, by means of the surveillance system and on the basis of the current occupancy of the vehicle, if a vehicle access point is to be monitored and in response to the determination, by the monitoring system and on the basis of the current occupation of the vehicle, that the vehicle is not occupied by a human occupant, to use one or more second components of the monitoring system to monitor the vehicle access point.
