titleOfInvention METHOD FOR PREPARING DENIM MATERIAL HAVING THERMAL REVERSIBILITY USING PHASE CHANGE MATERIAL, AND DENIM MATERIAL HAVING THERMAL REVERSIBILITY PREPARED BY THE METHOD
abstract The present invention relates to a method for preparing a denim material having thermal reversibility using a phase change material (PCM), and a denim material having thermal reversibility prepared by the process, and more particularly: a process for preparing, from a cotton yarn, a denim material having a thermal reversibility by warping, dyeing, wire feeding, sizing, weaving, buckling processes, washing, mercerizing, warping, desizing and inspection, and during the weaving process, the weaving being performed using a common cotton thread having passed through the steps before the weaving process, in as a warp, and using, as weft, a mixed yarn, alone or mixed with another fiber, obtained by the spinning mixture, in a ratio of 30 to 70: 70 to 30 parts by weight , a fiber of cotton and a PCM fiber obtained by adding, to a fiber spinning solution, a surface-enhanced microcapsule obtained by microencapsulation of a PCM and reinforcing its surface by means of a polymeric material, and its spinning; and a denim material having thermal reversibility prepared by the method. A denim material having a stably mixed PCM therein can be prepared by obtaining a tissue by: injecting a PCM microcapsule having a surface-reinforcing layer, which is prepared by the method of the present invention in a spinning solution and spinning thereof to obtain a PCM fiber, then its use as part or all of a weft so as to effect weaving; and performing subsequent processes, that is, buckling, washing, mercerizing, warping, desizing and inspecting processes. The denim material can be used as a high-end material with a feeling of freshness and warmth due to the latent heat characteristics of a PCM.
