abstract An object of the present invention is to reduce the slime derived from magnesium which is felt at the time of drinking in a colorless and transparent beverage having a pH of 4.0 to 7.0 containing magnesium. In a colorless and transparent beverage containing magnesium and having a pH of 4.0 to 7.0, at least one selected from the group consisting of vanillin, ethyl vanillin, maltol and ethyl maltol is blended into the beverage.
