| abstract | In some embodiments, a foot and ankle orthosis (OPC) may include a spacer configured to support an ankle and a foot. The orthopedic device may include a foot portion for housing the foot and a leg portion, extending upwardly from the foot portion, for housing a leg. The OPC may comprise a weighted compartment formed on or attached to the leg portion, the weighted compartment being configured to house one or more weighted objects. In some embodiments, an OPC attachment may comprise a plastic material formed into a curve with a limited range of flexibility, the plastic material being configured to be attached to an OPC. The OPC attachment may comprise a weighted compartment formed on or attached to the plastic material, the weighted compartment being configured to house one or more weighted objects.
