abstract A water-soluble texture improving composition comprising a powdered base composition of powdered calcium carbonate and a soluble encapsulated bleaching agent in an amount sufficient for incorporation at the time of incorporation. by mixing and stirring with the base composition and water to form an aqueous suspension, the bleaching agent performs an antimicrobial function for a prolonged period of time, preferably up to 80 hours. A process for preparing a texturizing composition, comprising preparing a powder base texturizing composition, preparing a soluble encapsulated bleach and mixing it with the base composition, and adding water to creating an aqueous suspension is further described, wherein the soluble encapsulated bleach is present in an amount sufficient to inhibit microbial growth in the solution for a prolonged period of time, preferably up to 80 hours.
