abstract The invention relates to polymeric compositions containing polyethylene particles having a multimodal molecular weight distribution. The polymeric compositions are well suited for producing porous substrates via a sintering process. Formulations made according to the present invention can produce porous substrates having improved flexibility demonstrated by increased flexural strength while maintaining excellent pressure drop characteristics.
