The present invention provides a method of treating hemophilia A in a subject comprising injecting mesenchymal stem / stromal (MSC) cells modified to express high levels of factor VIII protein. MSCs are injected to the subject before birth. Modified MSCs can also express high levels of von Willebrand factor protein. |
