The present invention is a polarization imaging apparatus capable of performing polarization imaging measurement in a snapshot without requiring a mechanical operation unit, in particular, a polarization imaging apparatus that does not require high-precision alignment of polarization elements, and more particularly in cost. The polarization imaging device is also relatively inexpensive. The present invention provides a polarization imaging device having an anisotropic diffraction grating element, a lens element, and a light receiving element in which the optical anisotropy is periodically modulated. |
