The present invention relates to a new image processing method. In a display device in which the screen image is divided into two and the respective video signals are provided separately, the entire screen image is divided and the upward conversion of the divisions is performed, and the upward conversion of the boundary portion between the two divisions of the screen image is performed separately. The upward conversion of the divisions of the entire screen image and the upward conversion of the boundary portion are performed in parallel using a plurality of computing units. It is possible to upscale the divisions of the entire screen image and up-convert the boundary portion using different algorithms. |
