titleOfInvention | Induced replication of oncolytic rotaviruses for neoplasm control |
abstract | The present invention provides a method for the production of oncolytic rotavirus from parental rotavirus strains and tumor lines of any origin, with the ability to infect and lyse tumor cells in vitro and in vivo, which express the integrin proteins in their cytoplasmic membrane. (αβ3), protánas disulfide isomerases (PDIs), heat shock proteins (Hsp90, Hsp70, Hsp60 or Hsp70). Furthermore, the present invention provides a method for the treatment of neoplasms in an animal, which comprises the administration of oncolytic rotaviruses, selected and adapted to tumor cells, in "carrier" or transporter cells in vitro and their subsequent administration to the animal. The method of administration of oncolytic rotaviruses in "carrier" cells allows them to bypass recognition by antibodies and release the rotavirus into tumor cells and infect them. |
