abstract |
The present invention relates to nanoparticle compositions for use as vaccines against salmonella. The invention relates to a composition comprising: an outer membrane protein (OMP) of Salmonella enteritidis or a killed whole antigenic protein (KAg) of Salmonella enteritidis; and a nanoparticle of polyanhydride or chitosan. In some embodiments, the nanoparticle further comprises a flagellar protein. The invention provides a vaccine comprising: a composition comprising an OMP protein of Salmonella enteritidis or a killed whole antigenic protein (KAg) of Salmonella enteritidis; a nanoparticle of polyanhydride or chitosan; and a pharmaceutically acceptable vector. |
