abstract |
The present invention provides methods and systems for detecting video relationships in a video. A method includes: decomposing the video sequence into a plurality of segments; for each segment, detecting objects in frames of the segment; track objects detected on the segment to form a set of mini-object trajectories for the segment; for detected objects, retrieve object characteristics; for pairs of mini-object trajectories of the set of mini-object trajectories, extracting relativity characteristics indicating a relationship between the objects corresponding to the pair of object mini-trajectories; forming relationship feature vectors for pairs of object mini-trajectories using object features relating to objects corresponding to respective pairs of object mini-trajectories and relativity characteristics of the respective pairs mini-trajectories of objects; and generating a set of segment relationship prediction results from the relationship feature vectors; generating a set of visual relation instances for the video sequence by merging segment prediction results from different segments; and generating a set of visual relationship detection results from the set of visual relationship instances. |
